Our family loves Young Scholars! My daughter started attending when she was 1.5 yo in the toddler room 3 years ago and is now in the 4 yo room, and now my son (1 yo) also attends in the infant room. It is very clear from the entire center that the staff takes time to connect with the students and takes pride in their jobs as educators. The teachers and directors have come through and supported our family, and we are so grateful for them!nnSafety is clearly a top priority for their students, from their check-in/check-out procedures, to how they have handled accidents with my daughter, and even more importantly now, with the special procedures as a result of the pandemic. It gives me peace of mind to know all the steps they are taking (hand washing, mask wearing, temperature checks, inside/outside shoes, and more).nnI feel the educational quality of the care is exceptional. From the infant room on up to preschool age (and I'm sure beyond), I always love to see the creative lesson plans the teachers put together filled with engaging learning activities. I know how much energy the little ones have; so, it means a lot to me that they have a full, engaging day with outdoor time and screen free play each and every day.nnThey've recently implemented the HiMama app, which allows us to interact with the teachers on a more consistent basis each day. I love getting updates (AND PICTURES!) throughout the day to see all the fun things my kiddos are up to. It's been a great addition to the care they provide!nnWe are blessed to be part of the Young Scholars family!

I moved back to Illinois almost a year and a half and and was worried about finding my son a great school not daycare. My Son was orginally going to a different daycare which to me felt like just a babysitter. My son needs more of a schedule and curriculum. So I was driving in island lake and found Young Scholars!!! Now my son has been recently evaluated and diagnosed with Austism 3 with Speech. I can honestly say that the teachers, The Directer of Operations and the Director of Cirriculum always care about the well being of the children they ask the questions and take temperature due to the COVID-19 regulations and have inside and outside shoes (which I love!!!) when you drop off your children. They so sweet and understanding with my son Sebastián. My son loves going to the school runs back to his classroom when they tell him to wait so they can walk him back.nnThey also have an app called HiMama which you can see the different projects, pictures, food they eat, how long they sleep and potty training through out the day! Makes my day every time they take a picture or just keeping the parents updated on events, things they may need for different events for the kids etc. So the point I am getting to is, if you are looking for a school/child care center for your kids I can honestly recommend Young Scholars they made me feel that my son will honestly be taken care of with my sons condition he is saying words finally wasn't saying anything before he started here. :)

My family loves Young Scholars and the entire staff. Everyone working there including the directors and teachers are wonderful to work with and are very caring. My son began attending Young Scholars when he was just 10 weeks old and now he is just a few months shy of turning 3 and choosing Young Scholars to care for him daily has been a blessing. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that all the children are learning, growing, safe and cared for in every way. The center is organized, clean, well maintained, bright and welcoming.

I operate an early childhood fitness and nutrition program in the area. Young Scholars values the overall health of the children in their program. I am in multiple Early Childhood Education centers around the area and I can attest to Young Scholars being of HIGH quality. I see it in the staff, the cleanliness of the facility and what they choose to feed the children...not to mention the curriculum. Please consider taking a tour!

Young Scholars has been a wonderful blessing in our family's life for the 6 years our son has gone there. We have never once worried about his well being and the entire staff always has the children's best interests at heart. He is now a school aged child that attends the before and after school program and enjoys his time there with his friends and the opportunity to work on homework (with guidance from teachers, if necessary). They truly prepared him well for elementary school - in all areas - social, academic, emotional. Young Scholars is an amazing facility that is always looking to grow and change to meet the needs of the children and the families.
