large open field. covered pavilion, playground, and bathrooms open now. sand volleyball court, but not used that way anymore, mostly a large sand box for kids to play in. parking next to the field and by the start of a walking trail that splits north and south. Usually empty except for spring and fall soccer. Some trees provide shade, some other trees provide very little shade.
Very nice fields. Not a lot of shade due to young trees and a slight drainage problem around the northern edge of the fields can make for some damp shoes if you're not careful.
Fun little play area for kids. Nice trail next to park. Great field for soccer/football games. Sometimes bathrooms are locked up, so make sure you plan ahead for that, usually open when there are planned activities such as practice or games
Nice big fields for sports. Not much shade for spectators, though.
Part of a system of trails that go to different parks in syracuse. The playground equipment is pretty cool here, and the ground is covered in wood chips. They also have a couple soccer fields and a volleyball court.
