Some unique and fun equipment at this park! The Frontrunner trains pass close by. It's better for older kids because the slide tower is so high and some of the equipment is a bit more challenging, but there is a smaller slide and a fun marble toy that entertained my 20 month old. No official parking lot, you have to park in the street.
My kids enjoy this place. Toys have a lot of climbing potential. Not great for really small children.
Good: Neat playground, lots of grass and big trees, plenty of picnic tables with little shelters.
Less good: No bathrooms or water, the playground is out in the sun, and for a park with the name Train Watching Park, the trains are pretty hard to see through all the vines in the fence.
This is a great little park! The location is a bit interesting, and gets loud every few minutes when trains pass by. But there is plenty of shade to be found and the park has a couple of unique elements that kids tend to enjoy.
Well maintained park. Secluded under an overpass. Fun playground for the kids. 3 gazebo picnic tables usually available. No trash cans. Plenty of open grass and shade trees. Currently only one Port-a potty restroom.
