One of my favorite restaurants in Sioux Falls period. As good as or better than any other Indian restaurant I've eaten at. Even if you've never tried Indian food, go for the weekday lunch buffet. They have a rotating selection each day of the week, you're bound to find something you like (aka Tandoori Chicken and Naan). My advice for eating Indian food, don't judge the food by appearance, even something that doesn't look appetizing can taste amazing.nnUpdate: This place continues to be my favorite restaurant in Sioux Falls. We get takeout from here at least once a month. My go to dish EVERY time is the Korma. I've decided the Vegetarian Korma is the best bang for your buck, since the sauce is star of the show. No meat needed since it's about $5 more.
Always enjoy the atmosphere and aromas in this place. Have went here many times for special occasions. Their buffet is incredible as well. Clean environment with professional and courteous staff. Great bar area too. Will be back. Superior.
Staying nearby on a cross country road trip and decided to give Shahi Palace a try. Absolutely worth it; fresh ingredients, authentic dishes, real Indian flavors prepared perfectly. Samosas were delicious, and probably one of the best I’ve ever eaten, dal dishes had great flavors, sticky rice perfectly prepared. Wish this Palace was in my home town.
Really awesome Indian food we had in a really long time in the US. All dishes were made fresh and perfectly spiced. Paneer was soft and perfect texture.
If you like Indian food, this is the place to go! Atmosphere was perfect, service was incredible, and food was spectacular. I got the butter chicken and my husband got curry, both delicious and huge portions we left full and happy! The mild-medium spice level was perfect for me liking just a little bit of spice. Check it out, you won’t regret it!
