I visited Magnificent Barber Shop with my pre-school aged son after reading the reviews. As a mom with a young son finding the right barber with both the skill and the patience is a tall order. Big J checked both those boxes and more! He is patient; provided great customer service; and gave my son a great (and fast) cut. His years of experience are truly on display with every customer. If you're looking for a barber for your son(s) I highly recommend him.
Magnificent barber shop is awesome!!! Jamie (owner), is very professional and polite to all of his clients. The barber shop is very clean and female friendly. Walk- ins are welcome. I feel very comfortable and safe here at magnificent barber shop. This is the place you're want to be for a great hair cut. For over 30 years I have been getting my hair cut at Magnificent, for the last 20 Jamie has been kept me coming through that door. I get tapered, my kids get fades, my dad even comes through to get a cut. Jamie is a class act and the conversation on top of the cut makes the 45min drive well worth it. My kids deserve that true Barbershop experience, Magnificent isn't just the name, it is the experience!
Jay is the best! Jay cuts my hair and my three sons who range in age from teenager down to pre-K and everyone leaves thrilled with their haircuts. Jay is great as a first barber for kids as he works fast and gives them a great cut. They feel good about themselves leaving and can’t wait to show Mom their haircuts each time we go. We can’t recommend Jay enough for families in Oak Park who need a good barber!
My son needed an emergency haircut and Mr. Jamie welcomed him with open arms. His service was great and the cut was more than I expected. My son liked it so much he decided to make this is permanent barber. The environment of Magnificent Barber Shop is very relaxing. Anytime we’re there for service, everyone is always respectful.
