Best park in Sioux Falls! I took the kiddos there today to enjoy each other and God's creation. We spent a decent amount of time feeding corn to the ducks and geese. My kids loved it! Very peaceful place to relax in nature. I will most definitely go back....frequently.
This is a wonderful park for getting out in nature. There are nice paved walking paths that go past several ponds where there are usually geese and ducks. There's also some unpaved paths to explore as well. Picnic areas and restrooms are located by the 1880s barn. It's a great place to spend an afternoon!
fun trails and lots of scenery
A beautiful sanctuary.
I enjoy nature very much. My husband and I like to feed corn to the geese and ducks and try to identify them. I take pictures and videos to share with my friends on social media. This is a nice park.nnThe only negatives, over which there is no control, are people who openly let their children use the ground as a urinal when the porta potties are locked; the people who keep trying to feed the birds bread, popcorn, and crackers; and, the parents and grandparents who don't exercise better authority over children who throw gravel into the water and at the birds and/or chase the birds.nnBTW, the porta potty was clean the other day, but the sanitizer dispenser was nasty. I don't know what was splashed and speckled all over it, but it was gross.
