Randy's Bluffton Store and Campground

Aug 2 2020. Stayed at campground. Paid for a 4 hour canoe trip. They wrote us down for a 2 hour trip. We asked. What happened? They wrote it down wrong.They replied we will refund your money. We were not asking for a refund, just wanted an explanation? The next morning Randy came to our camp site, verbally aggressively attacking us, demanding his money back. Told me I would never camp here again.. Not concerned about people or building customer relationships. Just an individual who likes to bully others, does not take care of the customers, more concerned about taking their money. It looks like this is the way he deals with people. He lacks good communication skills. The bath houses are dirty.. No toilet paper.. just gross and disgusting.nThe campground is loud, noisy and nothing special. Do yourself a favor. Stay at Twin Springs or Houskas across the street.

Camping is nice but Randy does not take care of his campers very well. The showers cost .50 to .75 and there is no hot water at all. Then he charged me $30.00 to take a single kayaker up river which is a 10 minute ride and went with other large group. I had my own kayak as well. I have only paid $10.00 for a ride before I have no idea why I was charged $30.00. I think next time I will just find a different place to go.

Rented canoes on a beautiful summer day. I didn't call ahead but you probably should for a Saturday or holiday weekend because they will sell out. The bar was busy (Sunday before noon even) and no frills, and the people were very friendly.nnThe river trip is not to be missed. It was one of the best rivers I've canoed down. Ever. Scenery was breathtaking, river was calm but with a good current, and on the upper part we didn't see a building or person for an hour and a half. They have multiple options for trips, up to 6+ hours. The service and shuttle were excellent. We will be back - probably to canoe and camp!

We love this place. Even when we were left at Randy's with no vehicle (somebody wasn't getting enoughnattention) we had a great time. We have been here several times and made a lot of good memories. Kayaking is great, the bar is nice and cool and the scenery is beautiful. Can't wait to come back again!

Service was awesome and the was just has GOOD! Looking to get back down there as soon as I can! Can't wait until summer for some camping and river action!!!
