We discovered Bates over 40 years ago, and make it a point to stop whenever traveling I-65. (They are at mile 130.) They have free range turkey everything, from turkey salad to turkey gumbo to turkey sausage to roast or smoked turkey dinners to turkey by the pound. I have ordered our Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys from them for years -- not cheap, but really superior quality. If you are traveling this way, and tired of fast food, but want prompt service, stop on in! You won't be sorry!

The cutest little cafe experience! Cornbread dressing like Grandma makes! Chocolate pie was perfect and a friendly staff! The bathrooms were clean and stocked well. Definitely on our list to stop again!

The turkey dinner was delicious! Their roasted turkey and smoked turkey sandwiches are always delicious! I always stopped here in Greenville when I'm in this area. The food is wonderful!

They were serving fantastic food since I was a little boy. I'm over 40 now. They're still at it, and the food is still great!
