I arrived before the sun was coming up and so it was very peaceful. I do recommend enjoying the scenery as the sun is coming out as this park is situated at a higher elevation making everything else seem void while attuned to the universe.n:)
A convenient place within the city to get some single track trails in. Well-constructed various Loop options make for an easy 30 minutes to an hour of mountain biking or running. Parking is just along the street and the trail start just east of the community garden.
I was pleasantly surprised by this park. It was a great shorter hike with a few different trails to choose from. I went in the middle of the day and only ran into 2-3 people who happened to be on bikes. The only downside is you can hear all the traffic 229 so you know you're still in the city.
Love this park. Great for day hiking in town but even better for a place that allows mountain biking on a single track. They offer biking for any level.
The single track trails are very fun.
