We had a very quick visit inside the first day because the boss connected us with a tour guide who was able to add us to a tour leaving right then. The short interaction with staff was so helpful and we hope to return to see more of the Selma Interpretive Center, the exhibit (s) and talk more with staff there.nWe were able to stop back the second day and see the first floor exhibit. Staff again were so helpful. The exhibit was really informative. The gift shop had a ton of great books and souvenirs. We hope to return to see the other exhibits when they are open.

My brother Jim and I began what was to be our 3 day journey ( 30 miles by foot and the balance by car ) to the capital steps in Montgomery at the Selma Interpretive Center. The reception we recd from Ken, who manages the center, could not have been more warm or enthusiastic as we shared our plans to attempt to travel the historic route. Ken was absolutely the best - informative, welcoming, and encouraging! I can not say enough good about Ken as the face of the Center.

Ken did a wonderful job of explaining the Center. We had a truly inspiring conversation. I bought postcards, books and gifts at the great store. I'll be back when the Center is fully open.

The interpretive guide was fantastic. He was passionate about the subject and great in his delivery and knowledge. The way he spoke made me feel emotional about the events that happened in Selma despite never having a close relationship to it.
