My son, who is five years of age, attends Nitro Elementary. Today, his mother went to pick him up and found him in the school parking lot by himself - no teachers or staff around. When his mother called the principle, she said that it’s my sons fault ... that he got out on his own. A five year old could have been kidnapped and/or hit in a parking lot and to blame a five year old for the lack of supervision is insane. I think this is something that needs reported on. If it happened to one kid, how many other kids has it happened to.
