The location in Teays Valley was great! I have to drive a little extra time and miles but well worth it! The staff here are fantastic! Very friendly and helpful!

Was completely dissatisfied. After waiting for 2.5 hrs I gave up and headed for home. As soon as we turned onto the interstate ramp they called my phone for my appt.

Time to open dmv back to full servicenSchool is in dmv should mennHave 1 window dedicated to walk Ins only all day at all locations its not that hard guys

Waited from 9am to 5pm and still never got called inside and I just needed a title reprinted. Probably go a lot faster if they didn't have 3 people at the welcome desk and 3 people doing actual dmv things. Really only need one person at the door and one person handing out number tickets. Open up more stations like come on. Go to Kanawha in Charleston. Lot faster and nicer. These people rude af too.

I am giving the DMV overall 2 stars, and that is only because there are a very select few that actually do their job and even fewer that do their job and willing to go above and beyond to help you.nEach person’s experience is different, depending on the employee, the time of day, and location, but this will happen with any place that private service. In my opinion the state employees should be held to a higher standard. My overall experience with all city, state, government employees is that they are rude and condescending, and feel as if they are the law. The people at the DMV make up rules as they go along, I was told that they can go to the next ticket after 5 min. We should have waited in the parking lot with no access to a restroom or ability to get a drink for 4 hours,and that we would have to go to the end of the line and that we still may not be seen by 5 o’clock, by the lady at the Kanawha City location desk, we asked if we would definitely be seen, she said “there are no guarantees in life sweetheart, deal with it. I then made an appointment to at the Winfield location and went there, they were a little curt at the door, but not as bad, but the overall experience was 10 times better then Kanawha City. I think it is just a hit or miss, and we got lucky in Winfield.
