Still needs a bit of work on tagging the trails but nonetheless, a great area right in town!
Nice peaceful sparkly bring your dog here sometime it's less than a mile from the house.
Would be a nice place if it wasn't tore up from atv's and had trail signs.
Largest Municipal Climbing Park in the East! Incredible climbing areas and beautiful rock formations. Great for hiking or trail running. New trails being developed!
I can understand there not being signage throughout the park, but couldn't someone have at least pulled together a sandwich board? From the road this just looks like a newly paved RV pad with a bit extra. Trash and broken glass is all along the trails, which look like rutted out ATV trails crisscrossing each other in meandering loops. Gentle walking path this is not. While much of the entrance is fairly level and easy going, this can quickly change, turning into a path that definitely requires hiking boots or great insurance. Though it may eventually prove to be a wonderful park, that day wasn't yesterday and may not be any time in the near future. Mark this one as a place to check back later.
