Easy hike (even in December) and gorgeous views! It took us about an hour and 20 min with picture breaks ud83dude05 Also, we started at the lower parking lot and finished at the upper parking lot and walked on the road to our car (walking on the road was less than 10min.)

Beautiful hike. Take the side trails if you have time to explore. The posted overlook is by far the most picturesque. Park at Fern Creek and go up and back rather than making it a loop to avoid walking along the busy road to get back to your car.

Fiance and I did this trail over Labor Day weekend and it is gorgeous! The overlooks are so crazy high up, i think i'm afraid of heights now! Not strenuous, mostly flat. We are mushroom hunters and found some choice specimen here in early September (chanterelles and more)!!
