We were due to get a new car registration sticker on our vehicle. Their office was well organized and had proper social distancing protocol - social distancing stickers on floor, hand sanitizer, mask requirements. There was a long line but it moved fast. One of the better managed government offices in town.

I have never in my life had to pay penalties on a new registration on a vehicle that it wasn't my fault, the previous owner never registered my truck but it happened in Midland! On the back of my title to my truck the previous owner never registered the truck and the owner before him left the title signed and dated from 2016. I had a bill of sale stated that I had bought the truck 3 days ago and they said I had to pay from what the title said with penalties if I wanted tags. I told the clerk I need to talk to your supervisor this can't be right but when I did she acted rude and she insisted that's how the law is. Beware if you go here your going to get screwed!
Wow, absolutely amazing! I am from Harris County, where it takes anywhere from an hour to two hours, waiting in a cramped lobby, before you see a clerk. I walked into this location on Tuesday 2:30pm, and was there a total of 7 mins, before walking OUT of the door with my new registration in hand. The lobby is comfortable and the clerk at station 6, blonde woman, was very nice and personable. Fantastic experience! Thank you.
