We stayed at Silver Wind for 2 weeks in our RV. The owners were very accommodating and Silverton really has that small town warmth. That being said, it is a small town and pretty far from the next biggest town with a grocery store so be sure to stock up before your visit.nnSilverton was a nice spot with proximity to both Cap Rock State Park (30m drive) and Palo Duro State Park (1h drive).nnThe Wi-Fi was usually fine for streaming however it was a bit spotty at times. We were working remotely so we had to rely on our 4G hot spots a lot to supplement the Wi-Fi. However the owners mentioned that they might be upgrading the network infrastructure soon so if this is important to you give them a call and ask.nnThe sun rises, sunsets and night skies here are incredible.
