I cannot say enough good things about Candace. She did my makeup and hair (along with my mom, the mother of the groom, and a bridesmaid’s makeup too!) for my wedding and I couldn’t have been happier. The moment I walked into her studio, she immediately put me at ease. She took extensive notes and asked detailed questions to ensure the look was exactly what I wanted. She took her time in getting to know me and my style. She made my whole look waterproof too, since I almost always cry constantly. The day-of was flawless. My hair and makeup matched my trial makeup and hair perfectly. She was so calm and positive all day and I definitely felt like I was in good hands. At the end of the night, after hours of crying and dancing, my hair and makeup still looked fresh. I don’t know how Candace does it, but she is incredible. I cannot recommend her enough. If you want to love your wedding day hair and makeup, call Candace!

Candace and Jessie did our hair and makeup for my wedding. They were very easy to communicate with via email prior to the event and having never met them until the day of the event, they arrived promptly on time. They set up quickly with the space they were given. They were respectful of my family and the day, they kept to themselves most of the day, which was nice. They made small conversation with the person in the chair. They kept an eye on people’s hair throughout the day before the left and helped keep it in place. I will preface the next part with, I DID NOT DO A TRIAL RUN. If you are not used to air brush makeup, and cry a lot, DO NOT DO AIR BRUSH ON YOUR WEDDING DAY. My make up was running down my face after the first look - 3 hours before the ceremony. This is not a reflection of Candace, it was my personal decision and advice to future brides.

I wish that I could give Candace and her team at 306 Hairstyling and Makeup 10 stars +++. They are absolutely fantastic and literally saved our wedding day! When my now husband and I first started looking at wedding venues in January 2019, we were turned away by one of the top venues on our list. It was a beautiful country/barn venue with excellent reviews. However, the day before our scheduled tour we received a private message from the owner that said our wedding was not part of God's design for marriage and he would not host our wedding at his venue. We were devastated and pressed pause on our wedding planning, unsure if we were up to the challenge of coming out all over again to every vendor we would need for our wedding and hoping they would accept us. We shared our story and word got out about what had happened to us. Another hair and make-up team heard our story and reached out to us to offer their services. A couple of weeks before the wedding we found out that the original team was not going to be able to deliver on their commitment. Our wedding planner scrambled to find someone to fill in and when Candace heard our story she immediately offered her services as well as 2 of her team members to do hair and makeup for our 5 groomsmaids, our 6 flower girls and immediate family ladies free of charge. We were blown away! The venue is an hour north of Dallas and they arrived at 8:00 am, ready for work and stayed until after 3:00 pm making the women and girls that we love most in life look absolutely gorgeous. Our groomsmaids were stunning and our flower girls looked and felt like little princesses and my husband's mother that night was the most beautiful woman in the room, exactly as it should have been. We cannot thank Candace and her team enough for the amazing gift that they gave us. Candace was committed and eager to helping make things right for us and make our wedding day absolutely perfect. We were complete strangers and she did not have to do this but that is the kind of person that she is. 306 Hairstyling and Makeup is a small business that truly believes that love is love and embraces all couples regardless of what they look like. I have used Jessie for over 2 years now and would highly recommend her. She has done my hair color, haircut, makeup on special occasions. She takes her time and makes sure you feel comfortable. She has even done hair extensions once for me. They turned out beautiful~
