I don’t usually do reviews but I have to say what a rare gem to find on the road! when you first see the place you’re kind of uncertain what to expect, it looks like a big warehouse! I wonder how many people have decided not to stop there for that reason alone, their major loss! I really mean that! As soon as you meet the staff you feel a very welcoming atmosphere, and to top that off Big J himself came to us and welcomed us as if he’d known us all our lives! Was really awesome how he welcomed us!! Now on to the Food it was incredible! What great flavor and portions I told the waitress when we were settling up, if we lived closer we would become regulars as a matter of fact when we go out west again next year we’ll have to stop at big J’s again! Without question worth the detour! Hats off to big J keep doing what you’re doing because it works!!

We bought the a few platters and their dry rub wings. All of it was excellent and tasty, the only exception was the beans. Nothing was wrong with them but they are OK where everything was awesome. Great local joint and will stop again. If you want good ribs, brisket and wings this is the place to go.
