I’m a local who uses roots as her go to shop ! I love this store. They always have MANY things I absolutely love. You can find it all from cute gifts for people (notebooks, candles, sunglasses, etc) to the best clothes!!

Roots is by far the best place to shop in Waco. The entire staff is amazing. They are always so friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough positive things about them. They will make you feel like family. My fiancé will make a stop at Roots every time we are in Waco. If you are visiting Waco or in town or a Baylor game, Roots boutique is a must do.

Each time I go to Roots I find something special. The quality of the clothing is wonderful, and I appreciate the selection. Employees were friendly and helpful. I always check Roots first when looking for something I need or want. I don't have time to look all over town ....I always leave completely satisfied.

I visited Roots today for the first time on 4/13 around noon and I just wanted to say that the employees didn’t greet my friend and I when we walked in even though I heard them greet other customers that arrived after us. Not once while shopping did they ask me if I needed help finding anything. Instead I heard them stand behind the counter conversing about their college courses. Which is fine, if you don’t have customers. The only reason I didn’t give Roots one star is because the clothes were decent. A little overpriced but that’s to be expected at boutiques. I will not be returning due to poor customer service and I will be sure to let my friends know about the poor customer service as well. There is a bigger shop right next door called “Spice” with basically the same things and the employees are never rude and the prices are cheaper even though you’re getting the same quality. Don’t waste your time on Roots ladies and gents.
