Gary, along with other Adams and Petersen CPA's, have taken care of me, my Aunt and my Mother in law for 10+ years. We have all been very happy with their responsiveness, quality and accuracy of the tax preparation and timeliness of our filings and follow up with IRS when there is a question needing to be handled by A&P, CPA's on our behalf. 😊

AT first meeting they seemed OK. They claimed to have experience working with many real estate investors/companies, but were unable to definitively answer my questions about how to account for my type of corporation. Should have been a flag. I had a brief intro call between Brandon and my attorney. My attorney was able instruct Brandon on how my books should be kept with each entity. Received a bill for $156. It was not detailed (you'd think an accounting firm could handle that). After 3+ emails and months, I finally was told it was from the conference call where my attorney taught Brandon the basics of doing his job (it wasn't a complex situation). I was told they bill for time and that is the nature of their revenues. I fired them immediately. I get people need to make money, but when I have to pay my attorney to train Brandon on basic accounting for LLC's it is a bit ridiculous. I'll pay for knowledge, not just for time. Took 3 emails, yet again, to get a simple confirmation that they destroyed my financial data properly. If you are looking for responsive, knowledgeable accounting where their billed time is worth their knowledge, look elsewhere. ++I see they responded. I found a cpa that could answer that $165 question without hesitation. I didn't need to involve my attorney to educate him. If they want to make this right, don't bill me for their education.
