This is directly for the "service" at Hill AFB. For the second year in a row, we have scheduled appointments to file our taxes and had to wait over 30 minutes past our scheduled appointment time to be acknowledged. Only this year, we weren't acknowledged at all; an agent finished up with a member and then just sat there after he left, looked at us sitting in the little waiting area, and went back to whatever she was doing. Still, no acknowledgement. We decided to leave. Clearly, our business isn't welcomed. What's the point of scheduling an appointment if we're going to be ignored anyway?

I appreciated how easy Julie was to work with. I like that H&R has all of my information saved in the computer from the previous year. I like that there is a military discount. I also appreciate the tax forecasting for next year.

I found out this year that the gentleman we we worked with to file our taxes last year filed our state taxes to the wrong state. This year I had to pay fees to the correct state for not paying my taxes through out the year that should have been filing with all along. Now not only am I out fees but I am also out the $350 I paid last year to have my taxes done properly by whom we thought was a military tax expert. I paid for peace of mind which I do not have at all. If you are going to post tax specialists on base they should know how to handle military members. There is no telling how many peoples taxes he has done wrong and how much money he is costing military members. The gal we dealt with this year set our taxes right and I appreciate that however..I feel like we got screwed due to a lack of knowlege.

I always get prompt, courteous service from H&R. The tax specialists are experts at making sure that the tax return is done correctly and making sure that I can take advantage of all new changes in the tax laws.
