After working with Chase Bank for 26 years, during this uncertain time, I received no help or assistance or guidance to help my business. I called First Community after receiving a recommendation from a friend. I ended up switching banks due to the personal phone calls, timely emails, and genuine concern they had for me and my employees. I had waited 14 days for a return email with my other bank, no answers and no help or guidance. I had all my concerns addressed and handled within 72 hours start to finish. Wonderful customer service, amazing loan officers, bank manager and tellers. I have had a brother, who owns his own business, and a friend, who is a business owner. switch during this time as well and experience the same great customer service. I HIGHLY recommend First Community Bank in Draper.
I work with Patrick Barlow. He has been awesome. Service has been fantastic! We switched from the 'big' bank (Wells Fargo) to a 'regional' bank (First National Bank of Layton) a couple of years ago. We've never looked back. The website and phone app could use some improvement. Also, need an improved 'preferred' customer support line/dedicated relationship manager for higher end customers. Hopefully Glacier Bank will make that happen. Overall...five stars for me compared to Wells Fargo.
I know I’m cared about here. It’s amazing to be able to call and get a live person on the phone who immediately starts to help me rather than having to punch numbers trying to get an automated system to direct me to someone, anyone, who can answer my questions. There’s a culture here where employees are educated or, if they don’t know something right away, they know where to find the answer. Relationships matter to this bank, and the bankers strive to help every customer with their financial needs. I give First Community Bank Utah five stars because, while it’s still learning and improving like all businesses do and should, it strives for excellence for its customers and has the right goal in mind. Its focus is the people and the community it serves, and this I can tell by my interactions and business here.
We would like to personally thank each and every member of the First Community Bank Utah for all their guidance and efforts in processing and funding our PPP loan. We would especially like to thank the Park City Branch and Ryan Hoffman for making sure we were prepared with our application and all requirements in advance of the first application date. This made processing condition free, painless and fast. For a small local company, like Park City Handyman Services - this was a lifeline that will help insure we make it through this pandemic. We plan to pay it forward and find ways to help our community transition into the new normal. BE safe, BE well to the First Community Bank Team!
This bank did an amazing job with getting me an emergency loan. The reason they didn't get 5 stars was just the lack of communication. I was finding out more information from other banks on what to do. With that being said, all of the other banks with their wonderful communication didn't put up their applications until much later than First Community Bank. Thank you for saving my business, even if it's for 2 months.
