Do NOT work here or take your kids here. Thi place has been cited at least 10 times this month. The director is terrible and will lie to cover herself. State licensing will be out every week for a year because of an incident that happened with another teacher. Worst place to work. They won't be open much longer. The teachers are amazing except for a couple, one who stays one her phone talking to her bf even though she is married and the other has been banned before was even caught with drugs and they still let her come back and work around kids. The director and owners are money hungry and don't care about the well being of the kids. My son was forced to come to school sick because I couldn't call into work because the director was on a cruise. The director won't inform you of illnesses going around.
Their very unprofessional and inconsistent with there rules. They disenrolled my kids without my knowledge. I would not recommend this daycare at all. Staff Jenny was the only person that was very professional.
My major complaint is that there was no consistency and the staff were very unprofessional. My son changed rooms a lot and teachers came and go, even Directors. I had teachers telling me what happened to previous directors and things I should not be told as a parent. I’ve overheard staff saying things they should not in front of children such as their sexual identity. I’ve seen teachers just sit down as toddlers run around with dirty faces. I’ve seen teachers just sit down way to far from a tall play ground structure while multiple kids played which is unsafe to me. I used to work here years ago before I kept my son here. I have seen some wonderful teachers come and go as well. I was not a perfect teacher myself. I do think the staff need training on how important it is to take care of children and keep them safe and teach them. They have a curriculum there but I never see it taught nor do I think they train the staff in it. The staff really try but places like this want to cut costs and send staff home and place them in rooms on their own with too many children (which I’ve seen and counted and mentioned to front desk staff). It just needs some passion and love. I do think the new director seems very nice and I am hopeful that the overall energy in the place gets more bright but I’m not going back personally.
I’m the grandma raising 5yr old triplets. They are very happy there & I trust the director Anita Moore with my whole heart. These 3 kiddos can be a challenge but the staff handles every situation perfectly. I saw a comment that a child was dirty when picked up. Yes kiddos get dirty playing. To me that’s a sign that the kiddos are having fun, doing creative crafts, learning ect. It’s not an unhealthy kind of dirty it’s a Wow grandma look what we got to do today! Guess what I learned today. Music to my ears!nAny staff that can handle my triplets is a wonderful amazing staff! I’m blessed to be able to have such a great place to love &care for my grandchildren.
My son has been going to this daycare for almost a year. I will say that I strongly considered moving him over the summer due to inconsistencies and some things I observed with his teacher. However, he was moved to a different teacher that he really likes.nThere are several things I like about Tree House Academy. The hours are nice, the security system gives peace of mind, and I really enjoy being able to take a peek at my son over the cameras in the rooms.nThat being said, there are still some things that could improve. For a couple weeks we would get a sheet of paper telling information about my son's day (food, diapers, nap, activities etc) that I wish would be handed out again. Diaper changes could be more frequent and they could be more vigilant about wiping runny noses.nI would recommend Tree House Academy. It is very affordable compared to some of the other facilities in the area and they are really friendly. I can tell my son's current teacher really likes her kids, which makes me happy.
