I started going to Guardian to help gain some self confidence and learn how to defend myself. This school has given me that and so much more! I always feel welcome here and I couldn't recommend this school enough! The instructors are knowledgeable and very helpful and are always open for questions.nCome check this place out!
The Academy is very nice they offer everything and anything to help him or her reach their own personal goals. Multiple Black Belts teach every night I wouldn’t recommend any other place.
Both of my kids have been going to Guardian MMA for about 2 years. The journey has brought my shy daughter out of her shell. She’s made friends with other girls and there’s a strong support system amongst her female teammates. This goes a long way as I’m raising her to be a strong independent young lady. My son has excelled and it’s brought him out of his comfort zone. The instructors and staff are awesome and truly care. We had no intentions of doing tournaments, but I pushed my kids to get the experience and they’ve both have won medals at their events. Not only are both kids getting daily exercise, they’re being pushed to their limits, and are learning how to defend themselves, should they have to. There isn’t a better gym. We love it. This is a honest , unbiased review.
I've been a member for about a year now, and couldn't be happier. Great family environment, where they really care about you learning and growing. They have classes for both adults, and kids. I highly recommend Guardian!
Our kids started their BJJ training in Chicago when they were little. When we moved to North Carolina we wanted to continue but could not find a suitable gym. When we moved to Middle Tennessee we immediately looked for a gym. We tried several out and settled on Guardian. They trained there for several years before there were some personnel changes and we switched to another gym for a couple years. Throughout the entire time we were gone Shawn Hammonds kept up with their progress and competition records. When it was time to make another change - all roads lead back to Guardian. All 3 of our younger boys train at Guardian and love it. They get tons of great instruction and ALL of the coaches and Professors take the time to help the progress and get ready for competitions. We have been back there for 2yrs now and have no plans on going anywhere else - because there is nowhere else they would rather go.
