Beautiful park! Maybe one of my favorites. We saw deer that let us get so close to them. It's beautifully maintained and neat paths and trails. Lots to do for the whole family. Friendly staff around to help.

My family and I have been to this park a few times. Easy hike that skims along the lake and if you want to jump in there are a few great stops to swim at!

There are several nice places for picnics and other recreation, as well as really pretty trails that you wouldn't expect in a metro-located state park. Camping's not bad either. I lived here 40 years before I ever came to Long Hunter, but now I am in the know!

Beautiful park and the lake is so nice. I rented a canoe there and it was so worth it. Only thing is I wish dogs were allowed on all the trails here instead of just the deer trail. Still, so nice to have a nature area and lake close to home.

Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful wooded trails, and views of the lake. Huge grounds. Breezes from the water, and a low bug population which is a plus in TN.
