We lost our cat 1 week ago. We visited the shelter yesterday and were overwhelmed by how many cats/kittens they have. If you are looking for a cat, please go here before purchasing a cat/kitten from a store or market. I promise there is 1 there for you. The staff was super friendly and answered ever question we had. They let us hold the cats and play with them. We will be back!

I wanted to adopt a cat for my other cat to have a companion when I saw this cat at care rescue she tugged at my heartstrings I knew from that feeling I had to adopt Addie she is so sweet and nosey and she is a momma,s girl l love her so much the best move I ever made thank you to the wonderful staff at care rescue

Proof that a board of directors can make or break an organization. In this case, something extremely positive has been torn apart by those who think they have to fix all things that weren't broken

This facility in the county is the only shelter that takes strays and gives every single animal the care and special treatment they need.nThey go above and beyond for dogs that have behavior issues or basic potty training issues.nThey keep this shelter open for anyone not turning anyone or anything away.nI give them a pat on the back for things they do that some people couldn’t bare to do on a daily basis.They are with the animals on their start of their journey of adoption all away to the end even helping them to get out more with their doggies day out program.

I wasn't going to write this, but my friend encourage me to. I'm sorry if it's too long.nI tried to contact care by phone for a few days and could never get nyone to answer. My friend told me to go to the website and I could schedule my own appointment to surrender my kitty Tarzan. When I went to the website I could only schedule. If I wanted to adopt or sign up for surgery, in order to surrender Tarzan I had to apply to do so. I filled out the application I believe on January 20h. I finally heard from them on the 25th giving me options to keep him, I explained that I was unable to. On January 31 I emailed them Again as I had not heard back from my message on the 25th and I was running out of time. This time I heard back the same day asking me why I was running out of time, I then explained that my bf and I split up. And that I had to be out on the 1st and my Nanna was allergic and I could not take him with me. I then got a reply that stated that I could bring him in on the 11th and that it was $35. I explained I could not wait that long as I had to move and that I had zero money to be able to pay, so I was told they would send me a bill in 30 days so I could pay the fee then. I asked to bring him asap and I never heard back... I ended up having to leave my Tarzan behind I put him outside with a whole bag of food and I hope he is OK. I am 2 hours away and cannot stop by to check. I tried to do what was right, but when the shelter won't contact you and when they finally do, I'm offered food and an appointment 10 days away. If I would have been given an appointment when I first tried to then I would have been OK. I am just so sad about Tarzan. I don't understand how they can do this? What happened at care? Why don't they care about the animals anymore?
