I have one word for this school...AWESOME!! Ms.Joy was amazing and she was very passionate about everything that was taught. I’ve learned so much about the variety of alcohol and it’s history! I highly recommend taking the TIPS class as well; it was very informative. Overall it was one of the best experiences thus far.

Awesome experience. I'm so glad I decided to take this class. The instructor is very knowledgeable and teaches you how to become a great bartender. The class is fun and challenges you at the same time. I'm more confident now with all that I've learned.

This school experience was phenomenal. It is a professional atmosphere with in-depth learning and the option of additional training for the TIPS certification. I would recommend the Mixology and the TIPS certification to anyone that is interested in bartending. This level of education allowed me to find employment immediately with the skill set Joy helped me develop and the TIPS certification. I would love to have the opportunity for advanced classes from this amazing instructor.n.

Joy is a fantastic teacher who truly understands every aspect of bartending. After just a few minutes in a class, one can tell Joy is truly passionate about what she teaches. Not only did I learn the fundamentals of mixology but I also learned many other things such as the names, brands, and various types of alcohols. I was truly impressed by the experience here even the classroom is very similar to a bar setting which made this even more enjoyable. Small class sizes made learning easy!

Grand Strand School of Bartending is an excellent school. I enrolled to this school after deciding on a career change and I am so glad I chose this school. The instructor/owner Joy is knowledgeable, down to earth, very helpful, and has a great curriculum set up for students. I entered my first class with little to no knowledge on or about bartending, mixology, liquors/alcohol or SC State required TIPS Certification. I completed 12 hour Bartending and mixology course and TIPS 5 hour course. I have learned so much to help me in my new career path and feel more confident from the knowledge/training I have gained! I highly recommend this school to anyone who has decided on this career path.
