This park is a nice place for a quick afternoon walk. It could use a little more parking. On the other hand, that keeps it from getting too crowded. They do have 2 bathrooms.
Very nice clean restrooms. Has bike pump and tools. Had a great bike ride on island and then on Greenway. River is lovely and many boats.
Nice little park to visit. It's an easy walk to the boardwalk over the water (dry at low tide). Great for little children or those with less mobility and still wanting to look at the marsh. Very close to the Greenway, though biking is not necessarily recommended as it's such a short trail. Wish they'd open a dog park!
Excellent walking paths over the marsh. Wheelchair accessible. No guardrails so stay in center of boardwalk if unsteady. Nice benches along the walk.
Another fine park by the good folks of the chs county parks Dept. Great quick walk with the pups .. fantastic place to watch a sunset with the dogs ... or maybe even your wife ... whichever you prefer
