I very often get tamales here! They are the best tamales in town. I always get green sauce on the side and no red sauce. They never make me ask for more! There is plenty of sauce for the tamales. I love my hot sauce. They are very kind. Fast and great service along with hot food!nnYou can never go wrong with El Vaquero!

SOOOOO SUPER YUMMY!!!!! 10/10 would recommend!! If you are visiting the Madison area, going to college in Madison, or even a local this restaurant is amazing and worth a stop! The service is polite and friendly and the food is fantastic, authentic Mexican cuisine!

Have had quite a few of the menu items and they have always been great. In general their food is slightly more spicy, but great balance of flavors.

Authentic Mexican food with reasonable prices. Dine-in is available during the coronavirus pandemic. Service is great, and the workers are kind & helpful!
