Super fast and super easy to understand unlike smaller tax preparing companies that over complicate things.

I went into HR Block based on it's reputation on the internet and the initial reviews I had. But I was disappointed and frustrated at the lack of courtesy and professionalism that I received at the place. The staff did not have a welcoming attitude at all. I was waiting in the lobby for someone to ask me if I needed help but I was just disregarded. Once I managed to enter, the person at the reception did not even bother to greet me. Just threw a paper at me to fill. Once finished, I finally enter the office of the representative I was supposed to meet. Annette Casto was really rude to me and basically made me feel like I wasn't supposed to be there. She behaved really badly with me and I didn't appreciate her attitude at all. She made me feel like I was supposed to know everything and didn't even bother to inform about what documents I needed as an immigrant. I felt attacked and at the end of the short conversation I had, had made up my mind in never coming back again. To whoever is in charge of reading this review, I really urge you to realise that your customers are not your slaves or a statistic and they deserve to be treated with respect. As an immigrant, getting this kind of behavior was really sad. I will never get my taxes done at this place. I also think that if the same kind of behavior was in place for a native, they wouldn't have tolerated it.
