Nikki African Hair Braiding

I enjoyed my experience here. Nikki and Chantel did my hair beautifully. They were clean and gentle. I recommend them and will return. I admire their customer service, especially their health and safety practices. I watch them clean chairs and combs. I saw them wash hands. Everyone wore mask the entire time I was there.

Loved my braided style done at this braid shop! The owner Nikki and her staff is very nice! I have been coming to her for years and I always love my hairstyle.

This was my first time having my hair braided here and I will not go anywhere else. They are very nice, professional and fast. They were getting people in and out. Since I was pregnant they gave me plenty of breaks which I appreciated.

I am a 61 year old lady who has had there hair braided many,many times. I go in to get a basic box braid style show the owner the picture which consisted of not many box braids. I should of known it was about the money because she tells me a large amount then asked what price did I want to pay for the style I say not that much because I don't want that many braids. We finally agreed on $40 less than what she quoted. Then I think there was a disagreement between the other styless because they started shouting at one another because I couldn't understand what was said but I kept hearing the amount I paid and it should be a higher amount. I show the styless the picture many times, stressing I don't want that many braids then another styless came to help l show her the picture another several times. I even kept my phone on with the picture on again I keep telling her I don't want that many braids she says ok, then she starts brading my hair so tight that tears were rolling out my eyes and I ask her not so tight. My hair looked NOTHING like the picture. Needless to say I came in from out of town and wanted my hair done badly and I have had to take the braids out. At 1st I thought I wouldn't even have any hair left once I got the braids out. I could not even lay down on my back.. I tried to lay on my hands that didn't work. I'm soooo disappointed that I am out a good amount of money and if I could have given less than 1 star I would have given a zero. This is one of the most horrible experiences that I have ever went through. I wouldn't recommend going here. Who has money these days to just throw away like this. ud83dude33!
