Bill Plemmons RV World, Raleigh

A little late on my review, but better late than never. We purchased a 31MB in May 2019. I first started dealing with Spencer while I was overseas and he was prompt with responses. Once stateside we visited the dealership and he was very attentive to us. Never felt pressured and he was not pushy whatsoever. Having a newborn at the time he brought our truck over to our hotel after it had the hitch installed. We would definitely buy from the dealership again if we deal with Spencer. The only negative was I couldn’t communicate with the bank they found for our finance. After a few calls to the dealer, I was able to get a hold of the bank. But that doesn’t impact the overall experience.

We purchased our first camper from Bill Plemmons in Raleigh and have only had the BEST experiences with everyone we came into contact with. Aaron Painter and Kelly Hicks were our main points of contact from touring the camper we wanted, emailing paperwork, answering all our questions and scheduling our pickup. On pickup day we spent a lot of time with the technicians, Mike and Corey, going over every nook and cranny of the camper/how to use everything. As first time camper owners we had lots of questions and these guys were awesome at making sure we got all the answers. Jamie Taylor did a great job walking us through all the finance paperwork and helped us understand the extended warranty plans available. All the staff were welcoming and very nice. We would highly recommend these RV experts! In a few years we will be back to upgrade I’m sure.

We are very happy with our purchase of a Forest River E-Pro from Bill Plemmons RV World in Raleigh NC. Aaron was our sales representative. He was very helpful, professional, knowledgeable, caring, great listener, and not a pushy sales person. We live over 2 hours from Raleigh. He met us on his day off to show us the travel trailer we were interested in. This was such a kind and impressive gesture on his part. He was very helpful with meeting with us to help make our decision. If he did not know the answer he found out quickly for us. Ask for Aaron and tell him we sent you! Jamie in financing and Aaron made our purchase go very smoothly. Jamie was very professional, nice, caring, knowledgeable, and organized. He did inform us about extended warranty deals, but did not push us. He was quick, but never rushed us. He organized all of our paperwork into a packet which was very helpful. Danny in the parts department was very nice, professional, knowledgeable, organized, quick, and caring. He showed and taught us about certain parts and accessories we may need or want. He did not push us to purchase. Chris in service was very helpful, nice, professional, caring, and knowledgeable in explaining all features of our new travel trailer. He did not rush us even when the walk through went after hours. Aaron and Eric (service employee) even pitched in to help their team mate after hours. He was not going to let us leave without knowledge and answers to any questions we had about how everything worked. He even let us video tape him while he explained all the features. This was so nice and so needed! Overall, this is a very good team that wants to help you any way they can. Our experience matched exactly what is stated online in how this RV family will serve you. We highly recommend Bill Plemmons RV World to anyone interested or want to purchase a RV or travel trailer. We are glad they also have a place in Winston Salem for service.

Friendly.nSelection was a little small

Short version for you folks. We purchased a 2020 Vengeance Rogue 25V Forest River Toy Hauler from Bill Plemmons in Raleigh April of 2020. There were a few items that needed replacing or fixing upon purchasing and they said they would get them ordered and fixed for us once the parts came in. Well we went from April 2020 - Oct 2020 waiting, calling and checking to be told parts still weren’t in. Never once were we called and told hey everything is here bring it so we can fix it. In late October we called and finally they say parts were in and to let them know when we wanted to set an appointment. We camped a few more times up until Nov. on Nov 23 we called and scheduled a drop of for 11/24. We did have a few new issues and items that had broken during camping that needed to be fixed. After all they do offer lifetime warranty so we needed our things fixed.nnFast forward for everyone.We have called multiple times to check on progress and been told this and that was on back order. My husband went by trying to see the camper in Feb. and was told the person dealing with it was off and to come back. When he returned on 3/8/21 they went to find our camper, per my husbands request, to see it but they could not locate it. So Raleigh PD was contacted and a report was filed. OUR CAMPER HAD BEEN STOLEN!! No one knows when the last time it was even seen on there lot. One guy says a week ago and one swears 3 weeks ago and conveniently there security cameras are messed up possibly by water damage they claim.nnSo here we are into the 3rd week and all we know is an insurance adjuster is working on it. Again there is very little communication from Bill Plemmons or K n K Insurance. Other than the insurance man is telling me he had requested info from Bill Plemmons and know one has responded.nI want my camper back or a replacement or a settlement ASAP. So with all this said Beware when leaving your camper at Bill Plemmons RV in Raleigh there’s no security what so ever and no care if your camper it stolen.
