I’ve been going to John exclusively for 10+ years. He always gives me a great haircut. I would rather support a local businessman like John versus Great Clips. My kids have used the other barbers, with no issues. John is prompt and consistent.

I've been going to John for years. He always does a superb job and I love how he uses a straight razor for the back of my neck then warm towels.

I came today on 11/24 to Parks Barber Shop being its only a mile from my Apartment @ the Ashton. Always going to a new barber can be stressing, not knowing if your hair will come out as you would expect. I've had a few chop jobs on the other side of Raleigh before the pandemic hit.nMr.Park was not late, had me and my wife get warm from the cold air outside still @ 9am, and he not only told me i'd like his cut but promised my wife I'd look like a new man again after Covid-19 lockdown I came in looking rough. I said to him I usually do a Zero fade into a Faux Hawk scissor cut on top he did a super job and looks fantastic especially to the chop jobs I had off Capital Blvd when I was struggling living out of an extended stay motel. Mr.Park I cant be more appreciated how well it came out!! You Sir now have a new steady client. I'll be there every two weeks as stated @ 9am. You'll see me for a good shape-up. Its been a real pleasure meeting him and one it her staff member. He's gotta be doing something rite being he's been in business for over a decade of cuttting cutting hair in the NC Raleigh (Durham) area. Hey in my book Parks Barber Shop get 5 stars from me. Been going to Park's since high school, and they always do a great job. John is probably my favorite, though I haven't had a bad experience yet with any of the other folks there. Did a great job covering up the hatchet job I did on my hair during the lockdown.nnAlso, they're taking COVID super seriously. Temperature checks, barber was wearing a visor, and folks not getting a haircut either waited outside or were otherwise social distancing. 10/10, gonna be bummed to lose this place if I ever move away from Raleigh.
