Whatever It Takes

Awful experience. Out of 3 transmissions I purchased re-manufactured 2 had problems with missing parts and incorrect assembly. This is strange because they say all of their reman. transmissions are dyno tested on the bench with fluid but if they were these issues would have arose then. This cost me my whole free weekend to diagnose and repair both of these transmissions. I was suppose to be reimbursed for this as I purchased a $200 warranty with each transmission which was suppose to cover towing to facility, diagnostic and repair of said transmission. I was told to wait to pay for the third transmission since there were so many warranty claims they would just deduct the amount I would owe from the final ticket. Months go by with no adjusted ticket. I called each month for an update on what I needed to do or pay the employee at WIT at this location told me they were going through a restructure and things were taking a long time. Almost a year goes by and I'm told to pay the complete amount for the transmission non adjusted. I explained my situation to the employee over the phone they then realize they never gave me any credit towards my warranty claims. They finally adjusted my bill but took off several hundred dollars from my bills I send to them for the warranty work and said our new policy states we don't pay for warranty diagnostic or tow to shop even though that was what my original warranty stated it included. I refused to pay more than I was suppose to pay so they sent me to collections and I paid just to be done with it. Staff is nice but company has fundamental issues and in any case I would never purchase a rebuilt/reman. transmission from this company
