I went in yesterday, on February 11th, around 2 or 3 p.m. & ended up leaving because of the horrible service I got. If I could give zero stars I would. When I entered the store, no one acknowledged me and no one approached me.They were behind the desk sitting down & didn’t say a word, I eventually went up and asked for a shoe size, which took them about 10 minutes, usually it only takes about 2 so I don’t know what the deal was this time. I was already running late so i expected them to be as fast as they usually are, I usually come in & get great service from them, again, not sure what happened this time, but I ended up going to get my daughters shoes from Vans. I love Journeys and have shopped there for a long time, hopefully this gets resolved.

Love the staff? And i got better customer service than any other shoe store.come here for great shoes and prices!

Would give zero stars but I can't. Went to the Layton Hills mall location today. My daughter looked around and I sat down with my infant son. One employee just wandered around looking lost and at one point stared at the wall, ignoring us. Then she began putting shoes away while we sat there. The other employee was assisting at the counter. Once she was done, looked at me and just stood there. I looked at my daughter and then a guy walked in and the female at the counter immediately greeted him and asked how she could help. Are. You. Serious. My daughter and I walked out. Found the shoes she wanted at Van's, who's employees were awesome. We have three daughters we buy for from this store several times a year and they buy their own when they have money. I have never seen this behavior in any of your locations until today. I'm extremely disappointed and will avoid this location. Customer service should be better taught to these two employees. Our purchases help pay their wages.

I went here on 10/16/18 in the morning/afternoon. Never have I ever been so surprised with the lack of customer service here. I took my daughter in to look at shoes, and when we got there, no one was upfront. We looked around for about 2 minutes until a lady, names Jessica, walked out. We didn’t get greeted or asked what we were looking for. I grabbed two shoes (converse and vans) and handed them to the lady and asked for size 8’s, she told me converse run big, and I already knew that, just wanted to see how the sizing felt on my daughter. She brought the two I asked for and then continued away focusing on inventory papers and receiving her shipment. Didn’t ask how they felt on my daughter or anything. Purchased the vans and some socks just because I knew my daughter needed them. If my daughter didn’t like the vans so much and didn’t want to wear them out, I wouldn’t have purchased from here. I was also browsing the store for myself and the lady could’ve cared less and didn’t bother asking if I wanted to see any other shoes. When I was a former employee of Journeys, the customer always came first. Guess that rule has changed. Go somewhere else.
