La Familia Used Tires and Mexican Store

April 9 2021nnI hate to give my mans a bad review and will see after tomorrow if this review gets worse or not. Been using him for a few years now. Around 6 months ago we had him put our new tires on our new rims. We had him put two new tires on our two back rims for us yesterday cause we had cupping on one tire due to shocks. Last night on the front driver we noticed the stem was cracked and the next morning (today) we put air in it and 5 mins later we have a flat. Take it to Larry's get the stem replaced and it won't balance find out the tire is shredded on the inside from 5 secs of driving on it flat. We had the extra back tire from the previous swap the day before and put it on the rim. Now its 9pm and my brand new tire on back passenger is flat. Guess what it is an old dry rotted valve stem. We check the other two tires and sure enough those are cracked as well. We've been riding for 6 months on old dry rotted valve stems and when he swapped our 6 month old back tires out for the news my man goes bk there with him and watches and he didn't replace the valve stems he refused the ones that he put on 6 months ago that were already dry rotted. I called him n he said he would replace the valve stems and that he doesn't use old ones. Well obviously you do and now I have one 6 month old tire ruined and now possibly a second tire ruined and this one is brand new put on yesterday! now ima have to buy two more new tires after just buying two new tires having one brand new one ruined aand a slightly new one ruined and thankfully my rims didn't get tore up. I drive an hour to work everyday from clinton to wilmington this was so dangerous! So hopefully this dude is going to pay me for my tires that got tore up cause he cheap using old valve stems and we be tipping him too! Like come on man. You could of killed us twice in one damn day! I am tired of the lack of good quality customer service we don't have any more in this country.

My experience with candida Chavez was not a very pleasant one over charges on most things specializing in tires but usually charges 5 or $10 more than anyone else so I would not recommend this place at all!

I would have given no stars if I could have because I bought a tire and had to have taken it back to be patched. It was sold to me with the hole in it and it was dry rotted. It hasn't been a month and I had a blowout last night. He wouldn't replace it. Will never do anymore business with that store again.
