My son got new tires on his car. He got a great deal. I got my car inspected yesterday. On both occasions the service was very good, the staff was polite and helpful. I will definitely do more business with Chapel Hill Tire

I think they are an entirely competent service facility. However, they are somewhat overpriced and I strongly dislike the “up selling” they often do, especially to young, inexperienced car owners (like my 21 year old daughter). And for that I say, shame on them!

I was extremely impressed with this shop's reviews so I chose them for my oil change service. Upon calling on Wednesday 3/10/21, I was thrilled about the drop-off/pick-up service and scheduled it for Friday 3/12/21. I gave my information and was told my car would be picked-up between 9-10 and dropped-off between 2-4. Friday morning I left the key on the seat. Around approx 11am, I called to make sure my car was picked up because I hadn't heard anything. The man I spoke with said no one answered my phone so they didn't pick up my vehicle, I had my phone with me all morning and I have no record of missing a call from Chapel Hill Tire. I was told I could schedule an appointment for another day, meanwhile I'm in another city and my car is left unlocked with the key inside all day. Very unimpressed with the lack of service and no effort to make the situation right. Back on the hunt of looking for a dependable, quality car shop.

We've used Chapel Hill Tire for almost a decade now, and we have been continuously happy with their service. Very professional, exceptional customer service, and always a good job - and if something is not quite right the first time, they will take it back and make it right. Their pickup/dropoff service makes life much easier. Two thumbs up

I want to like Chapel Hill Tire as they are a local business that tries to do good work. However, they have room for improvement. First, I received an email advertising free pickup and delivery for service. So I booked an oil change. I received an email that they would be in touch to work out the details. I never received further correspondence. I called them directly after about three weeks. Second, they came for my vehicle and performed an oil change. They also do a once over of the vehicle. In my case, they generated a list of urgently needed services. One of the services was already performed by them a few months ago. I am sure they did not even look at the brake fluid reservoir to see that the fluid was pristine and full. This is just a way to blindly generate business. Had I followed their recommendations, I would have had a $500+ bill for what should have been a quick oil change. Please at least question what they are suggesting. Finally, they returned the vehicle after I discussed the services with a rep and paid for the oil change. When I popped the hood to take a look to be sure all was in order, I found a mess and puddles of oil near the air intake and around some covers as well as dripping down the radiator. That’s an unacceptable way to leave someone’s vehicle. I cleaned it up myself. The worst part is that this was my second round of these same three issues with service from Chapel Hill Tire. Last time I was cleaning up brake fluid and properly closing my air filter assembly after service. I gave them a second chance, but unfortunately, I will have to move on. I shouldn’t have to write this review. I may try a different location of theirs and be up front about my less than optimal experience in hopes of better service. I hope they will take the opportunity to improve despite the fact that they are always busy and probably don’t need my service. All that said, my interactions with the service reps were always pleasant and they were respectful and polite.
