I brought them a minor fender-bender and had a great experience. They're a father-son team and about the two nicest guys I've ever worked with in NC. They made the car look new again, and beat a competitor's price by half (In fact, while we were discussing the project, Steve knocked out one dent as we talked, and then announced 'that doesn't need fixing anymore.' The other place I looked at wanted to replace and repaint the whole panel for over a thousand dollars extra).

Go to Hatley’s. My Toyota was involved in a fender-bender. I was able to find matching body panels at the salvage yard, but was worried I would need additional body work order to attach them. The guy at the first body shop I went to in Carrboro briefly looked at my car and told me that he would have to put it up on a frame-puller. He quoted me $350.nnNext I went to Hatley's, and the gentleman there was very courteous, but explained that he was booked for another month. Nevertheless, he took the time to examine my car, studying it for a good while before giving it a few good whacks and declaring that it was fine, no charge. He said to drop by again if I had any problems fitting the panels.nnI installed them easily enough, but I couldn’t get them to line up properly, so I went back to Hatley's. Again, both the proprietor and his son were very courteous. They invited me to pull into the garage, where they spent twenty or thirty minutes carefully tweaking the hood, fender, and bumper so that the lines between them were perfect. They both clearly took pride in their work and were genuinely interested in fixing my car. Five stars!

Called about getting a whole car painted and while they do not do this kind of work the man I spoke to on the phone was very nice and recommended a number of shops that would help me get what i need.

I had an incredible experience at Hatley’s! I came in, without calling or making an appointment, and Michael Hatley was with me immediately, gave me a simple solution to my problem, and fixed it immediately without charge! As someone who has barely any experience with taking cars to auto repair shops, it was a great experience knowing I was in good and trustworthy hands! They do incredible work!

This shop does sub par work and also inflicts damage on your vehicle that they expect you to fix as well, at an additional charge. The owner is rude, belligerent and downright aggressive towards women. Do not use Hatley's, you can get better service for your money than this.
