Do NOT listen to these negative reviews! This place should have 5 stars across the board, hands down! It is one of the only Asian places my fiance' and I ever ate when we lived in Wilmington all of the years that we lived there. We moved about an hour away and this place is one of the only restaurants we miss! Jenny and her staff bust their butt to make some of the best tasting Asian food I've had in NC! Locals and tourists a like will love every bite!

I guess their is a first time for everything. Driver delivered my food to someone else, brought me the food that was supposed to go to them. Then tried to get me to take their food instead. I told him I wanted the food I ordered. He was supposed to go back and get my order remade. Instead he told them I wanted to cancel my order. After waiting for almost an hour 1/2 The lady on the phone apologized but the guy driving did not, and was very unprofessional about the entire ordeal. I have always had great service up until now. I'm sorry but this specific delivery driver changed my opinion in a negative way for this place.

Not sure what happened with the negative reviews but I am picky with Chinese food. This was some of the best me and the wife have had. We ordered beef and broccoli, sesame chicken and egg drop soup. All was great. Last week ordered some at the Chinese takeout on Carolina Beach now that was not good, beef and broccoli had a fishy taste was just weird and the egg drop soup was not good. China Star will be our place for takeout, staff was very friendly.
