Vein Mountain Gold Camp & Carolina Emerald Mine

I went out of my way to go see the emerald mine. Sadly disappointed. It looked more like a glorified junk yard. There were no signs indicating anything on the main house. A bunch of RVs and trailers in the back that certainly didn't lend to the hope to find anything of interest. There were trailers full of garbage on site as well as broken down appliances...and a coin laundry. I didn't bother to inquire. Sad.

Clean nice and relaxing place to go.....the kids love it too!!!

Poor attitude from land owner. Great for the kids.

My buddy and I were able to get away for a weekend here and we love it! Beautiful place, great people and owners and some gold to boot!

Looking for a place to live; the owner is very accommodating and non judgemental. Everyone is welcome if he has the space available for them. I lived in this place and loved living here.
