I went in for a simple tax return. Once everything was entered in, they quoted me a $680 fee for them to file for me! This is a crazy high fee. I went home and was able to file on H&R Block’s free software and I got the exact same numbers, without having to pay an outrageous amount. I also went back and reviewed my return from last year and I paid almost $700 in fees to them. Posting so that others are aware of what they are charging just to file a simple return!
I've been with them for years now. The refund advance is a plus as well as being able to bring in a recent paystub instead of waiting for your w2. I worked with Susanna this year and she is awesome.
