This place was a day of fun! We brought two disabled teenagers (one who is unable to walk and the other with autism) and 5 adults. The staff was absolutely amazing with the teenagers! Very handicap friendly, each staff member made sure they were having a great time and helped out greatly! The teenagers enjoyed it and so did the adults! We drove two hours and we had a two hour wait but we went a short drive to some food and had plenty of time! The lines looked long but went very quickly! The tube lanes were all fun! We even went two at a time! Loved this place! The music playing was amazing as well and a fire pit to stand around! My family and I will definitely be back!nThank you moonshine mountain snow tubing for a great fun filled day!
We had a blast! The lift is a relief when you have little ones. Walking up the mountain is a little much for them because they obviously have to carry their tube up with them and it’s a steep climb. My 9 year old wanted me to go down with her every time so with the exception of the one time we walked up the mountain, we used the lift. The line can get pretty long but it moves quickly. Oh and just a heads up, if your toddler doesn’t meet the height requirement (I apologize I don’t know the number because my husband was with her when she was measured), they won’t be able to go tubing with you. They are required to sit in their own tube so it makes total sense that they’d have a height requirement. Just wanted to mention this because we thought our 3 year old would be able to sit on our lap. Thankfully my sister wasn’t going tubing so she was able to stay with her. All in all we had a great time.
It was amazingly fun. We had a blast but it was packed. My tip is to go there as early as possible as to reserve tickets before other people. It's super long and there are so many other things to do there as well. You can get hot coco, free parking, music, a fire pit, a food truck, go to the town near it and look around, and (duh) snow tube!nThe staff there is very kind and makes suggestions of what to do if you're on the waiting list. It's cheaper than the other place we were going to go, and definitely worth the price. Make sure to wear clothes acceptable with the snow, and make sure you (if you're bringing children) let your kids know it might take a little while and to be patient.nFrom the bottom it looks short, but when you're at the top it's really long. It's only like a 5 second ride but it feels like 10 minutes. It's definitely something I'd suggest when you're bored and hoping to do something fun and cheap.nI don't usually rate things. Get ready for AMAZING amounts of fun!!!
I was a little concerned that it would be for children my husband and I don’t have any children so we were a little hesitant but we went ahead anyway and let me tell you we had a blast!!! Well worth the time spent. We felt like kids again! Will definitely be back in the weeks to come !!
Had a great time with the family. Was skeptical at first but this turned out to be so much fun. The ambience is what stood out the most. Awesome music, hot cocoa, and the camp fire was a great touch. My kids called it the “wood party”. They couldn’t stop talking about it :)
