ECGS makes an excellent repair/upgrade for Toyota 4Runner (and many other models) that fixes a common issue with the drivers side front differential shaft bearing, especially when the suspension is raised at all from factory. From the factory there is a needle bearing that supports the CV shaft where it is inserted in the diff. and when the suspension is lifted even slightly, it subjects this bearing to side loading that it was not meant to withstand. This results in excessive movement or “slop” in this joint. ECGS supplies a bushing to replace this bearing along with specific tools for removing the old bearing and inserting the new bushing. My 2006 4Runner had this excessive movement of the front CV shaft. The needle bearing had completely failed and come apart. We were able to extract the remains of the old bearing and insert the bushing completely correcting this issue without having to pull or disassemble the diff saving a great deal of time and cost! I’m not aware of anywhere else offering this solution. ECGS was very helpful and supportive and has done a great job with this design!nUpdate: It has now been several weeks and hundreds of miles since installing this part. It continues to perform flawlessly and my >230K mile T4R drives and rides perfectly! I couldn’t be happier!nThanks ECGS!!!

Fast and efficient. We drove from Fayetteville today to have 3.73 gears installed in my 95 Impala SS. Were done by noonish and didnt have a ride to go get lunch while we waited but made sure we were able to get some food. Awesome crew with great prices!! They have a customer for life.
