I too hold a license under cosmetology as an ESTHETICIAN (aka skin specialist) and I am well aware of the guidelines and changes with COVID. A miscommunication is not the same as completely failing to contact or response when you’ve told a client you would. I did threaten that I would share my experience if she did not refund my money for an incomplete service I paid for more than a year ago. I have attached a screenshot to photos to show her reply that she would contact me back that evening along with my correct phone number. Her license not being maintained, her website email not working, her assistant not contact me.... all thing that as a paying customer I trusted a business owner to uphold. I too have been affected by COVID, have children at home for online learning, yet I contact my clients and maintain my license to complete services I offer. Addition I was not on any medication that effect bleeding or swelling, my awareness of this is clear seeing how I am also an EMT. Chrissy had declined to refund me therefore here I am sharing my experience. I am not out to harm anyone but sharing my experience which is the whole reason for Google review, social media and word of mouth.nnI went to Chrissy Putnam for microblading March 2020. I paid for the service in full up front. During the service my brows began to swell and Chrissy expressed that she would want to continue another time that it was hard to see where she had and had not gone due to swelling. My follow up appointment was set for July and according to the healing of my brows we were going to finish the first appointment betweenMarch and July. Come July 2020 I had to reach out to Chrissy about my appointment knowing that cosmetology services had been affected by Covid. Chrissy did express at that time that she would get back to me as soon as everything had reopened. Fast forward to January 2021 and she still had not contacted me back. I again reached out to her on her salon website, her phone number listed on the website, and on Instagram left details of where we left off with my services and my cell number . She replied on Instagram and said that she would call me that evening , I never heard from her and again attempted to contact her by Instagram, website/email, and personal number. It was not until I requested a refund and expressed i was no longer interested on her redoing, completing, or finishing my brows over year from when she initially began them , then she replied promptly offering excuses such as Covid, tattoo license not being renewed, her assistant was suppose to reach out, and having kids home for online learning. Things we all have experienced, not just her and therefore does not excuse her lack of services or there of communication. She refused a refund and offered to do my follow up when I’m left with 2-3 viable lines that don't blend in at all with my brow due to it being so long ago. I do not recommend her for any services!!!

I love this place and trust no one else with my hair! Chrissy is so talented. I've been going to her for three years now.
