I take jujitsu here and it is awesome! The people here are so kind and generous. I will recommend this to anyone. It has jujitsu and a workout station. So 5 Stars!!!

Ive been doing Jiu Jitsu here for about a year and its has truly been amazing. World class professor, friendly environment, and just a fun place to spend a few hours every week! I couldn't recommend AMAA more!

Personally, I have been to 4 BJJ schools this year due to moving all over the world and this is by far the best school I have been to yet!nnFor starters, it's an extremely clean, high quality facility. The coaching is top notch for what ever your level of interest from sport to self defense to exercise.nnThe two owner Leonardo and Thais are kind, welcoming, and make you feel like you came to the right place.nnIn comparison to other gyms this is one of the best environments I've encountered. The people are friendly and Leonardo's mild tempered but strong leadership creates a peaceful environment to learn and train.nnThe fundamentals class has very little competitive opportunities which allows for newcomers and well versed jiu jitsu practitioners to learn strictly technique and make friendships with their peers. Everyone I've met there has been genuine and helps one another get the technique over time.nnI would recommend this gym to anyone.

Professor Leo and Thais are so welcoming! The experience for my son and I has been amazing so far. The environment is very welcoming and everyone at the gym is so friendly. Prof Leo and the other instructors take their time to teach you and help you along. When my son or I are struggling or exhausted, they are always there to pep us up and motivate us. The fundamentals class moves along at a steady pace that really allows you to learn. The prices are also very very reasonable. I would highly recommend the academy to anyone!

I am extremely happy with American Martial Art Academy. My son and I are learning jujitsu together and the family atmosphere here is very inviting. The schedule is perfect because if life gets in the way there are classes you can attend all week. I am very happy we joined. Thank you Professor Leo, Instructor Jim, and the rest of the staff!!
