Cozy atmosphere to share with friends on a chilly, rainy winter afternoon. Filling and delectable menu items followed up with scrumptious afternoon tea sweets. A nice place to savor the warmth of friendship and tea.nFriendly & knowledgeable servers. Simple luncheon menu with a French flair. Traditional scones, shortbreads and cakes. Wide selection of teas. Overall, makes for a relaxing place to enjoy a spot of tea.
I really enjoy the afternoon tea at this lovely tea shop in the Tower Grove area. A visit to the London Tea Room has become an annual Christmas tradition for me. The service is perfect. I love the atmosphere. Best of all, the tea selections and food are spot on! Plan in advance! They book up (just like all the other good restaurants).
I feel like I'm back in England when I go here. Amazing pastries, including some great traditional British options that are tough to find in the States. Tea blends are stellar, the flavor is as strong as the scent unlike many tea blends out there. Lots of high quality kitchenware as well, and some fun ideas for Covid times like the Brunch in a Box and to go High Teas.
