Everything was great up until me and my husband were looking at google maps to see the quickest way to walk back to our hotel. It was cold and snowing out so we just wanted to make sure we were headed the right way. The lady with the bangs said “is there anything else we can get for you today?” (Very passive aggressively). We said sorry we were looking at a map. Not 10 seconds later she says “our cafe area is closed”... she was literally telling us to get out.... we did not look like we were getting comfortable in the cafe at all, we were standing up and had just gotten our drinks from the counter. RUDE RUDE and I will never waste my money there again!

Incredibly passive aggressive worker there, reading other reviews it sounds like the same one. Use to be my favorite coffee shop, but I’ll never go back there while that one worker is there.

When I found out that St. Louis is known for gooey butter cake, I knew we had to try it. That's Anthony's ice cream favorite flavor at Jeni's, so the real thing had to be great.nnCovid-19: we were able to order and pay over the phone. When we got there, they brought our order out to the car for us.nnThis place boasts 73 flavors so it seemed like a great place to try it. That's misleading though because they're only available for shipping online. In the store, they have 7 flavors (and none of their seasonal ones).nnWe had to get a slice of the traditional and then we got the only other non-chocolate flavor they had which was white chocolate raspberry.nnThe traditional is where it's at. It was amazing. It's probably one of my favorite desserts and now I'm wondering where I can find it in Charlotte (if you know, hit me up).nnThe white chocolate raspberry was good, but I think the added flavor took away from the gooey butter cake flavor instead of enhancing it. I tasted the white chocolate but we didn't taste any raspberry.nnIf you're in St. Louis, you need to try some gooey butter cake!

The staff is great, the coffee isn't. The mocha tastes like a cheap hot chocolate (no coffee taste what so ever) and the regular coffee is either amazing, or has too much water. I'm sad that I haven't seen as much consistency as others.
