Sorry, I had this at one star accidentally, and I feel terrible about that because this place is great.
The poor waiter had no help. The food and drinks were great but the one waiter was handling all the tables by himself and I even noticed he was having to stay on the bus boys and cook staff to keep them doing a great job. Kudos for the hard work but management needs to get more reliable help.
The food was fantastic! Seriously some of the best calamari I've had in St Louis. Try the bacon wrapped dates, you won't regret it.nnThe hospitality deserves 10 stars. We came in as a group of nurses after a hard day and were immediately welcomed like family. We could not have been treated better.
They brought me the wrong food. I ordered the chicken picatta.. they brought me chicken Sicilian.. I watched my husband eat.. then they brought my dinner and it was still not a lemon white wine sauce.. more like a butter sauce. I had to let it go. I was hungry and tired. I ate about half. No mention of the mistake or apology at the end of dinner. Bread was good and salad was good. I paid $19 for the wrong food.
To be honest, I've yet to experience the food, but as a delivery driver, I must admit their customer service was outstanding. From the beautiful waiter who took my order (this was an order and pay service), to the incredible woman who updated me on my order and allowed me to wait comfortably in my car, the experience was by far the best I've had at a restaurant with regards to the service alone.
