The area is great for a nice walk. I wasn’t in the playground per se.
Well-maintained, high traffic playground on the shores of Lake Elkhorn. Plenty of benches, playroom equipment, and even picnic tables nearby.
I have being there many times. They have a nice playground by the lake. Awesome view while watch kids playing. It has picnic tables, and a little sand box.
I often wondered how often do they clean the sandbox there, I rarely took my kids to this lil playground and I lived on the same street for 12 yrs. I just didn’t feel comfortable because Columbia has a lot of animals and rodents that also be at that playground. Though I never saw anything unusual in the sandbox I always wondered if they change that sand or is it just one big liter box for the animals and rodents ewww!!! Yes I am very germ conscience but anyone should be concerned with where their kids are playing especially a place exposed to the elements and where animals roam. Parents are often there with their children I’m just not one of them.
I'm not sure why anyone would give this playground 1 star, fun equipment, on site sand toys and stunning views of the lake.
