My now ex wife hired Harry to review an amicable settlement agreement we had agreed to. Three years and $60K in her legal fees later, in court she got 27% of the original agreement. For three years Siegel sat in his Florida home, while letting an inexperienced junior attorney bumble the case. He didn't even show up for the trial!nnHis reputation amongst other Maryland attorneys is he is going to milk his clients for every cent they have and when that is gone, he may just drop the case, making sure he has enough time to legally do so before trial. Not sure how this guy sleeps at night.

THE BEST. Harry assigned Britton Gore to my case, which I really made quite a mess of prior while prosecuting pro se. She knows case law and worked around the clock in the days leading up to and during my 5-day custody modification hearing. Watching her cross-examine was riveting. A good attorney is worth her fee, and Britton is phenomenal. The paralegals are exceptional. The receptionist is the sweetest ever. Harry is a master in his profession. I emphatically endorse and recommend this firm above all others.

I have had the pleasure of working with both Harry Siegel and Michael Milstein on several different cases. They were professional, helpful, knowledgeable and non-judgmental. Both Michael and Harry are well-connected in the community and they stand up for their clients. They made a difficult situation a little less stressful.

I hired Harry Siegel not too long ago for a family matter that was not complex, but by the time Harry Siegel was done with it, the matter became complex. His firm claims to handle complex matters. They do it by making simple matters complex strategically and by their incompetent. That is their business plan and MO. He makes money by being incompetent and deliberately complicating your case. You pay for his incompetence and the incompetence of his associates and staff. They routinely overcharge you for trivial tasks. Then they bully you into accepting the charges. When I first talked with him he sounded like a competent and honest attorney. After I hired him, Harry Siegel proved to be incompetent and dishonest. The people who work in his firm are often incompetent and dishonest as he is. His legal opinions and strategy are bizarre at best. He doesn't seem to know the law nor the rules properly and he lied to me about them more than once. I checked with other attorneys.nnHe passes on your case from one associate attorney to another within his firm under the guise of saving you money. “You cannot afford me” he says. But actually every time he adds another attorney to your case (and he does it two or three times), that attorney charges you thousands just for learning your case. Those attorneys don't act without his approval and follow his strategy to complicate matters and prolong the case. How is that saving you money? You might as well hire a new attorney outside his firm than trust him or another one of his corrupt attorneys. He does not actually listen to his clients like he claims to. He does what is in the best interest of his firm's bottom line.nnIf you have hired this lawyer or his law firm and they have been incompetent or negligent, you can report them to the Attorney Grievance Commission. You can use the services of the Maryland State Bar Association's Committee on Resolution of Fee Disputes if he has overcharged you. In Howard County the statute of limitations for fee disputes is one year.nnStay away from Siegel and his law firm. I would not be surprised if the positive reviews for him are fake.
